Doctor Beatrice Monroe was born in Manhattan, New York, to immigrant parents who came to this country after World War II. She went back to her parents' humble origin in Budapest, Hungary, to complete her medical school education at the Semmelweis University of Medicine. She completed her residency training at the University of Dentistry and Medicine in Newark, New Jersey. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Her career began as an Emergency Room Physician in large teaching hospitals, such as Newark Beth Israel and St. Michael's Hospital. After a 20-year career in Emergency Medicine, Doctor Monroe has spent her last ten years in urgent care. She has also worked in private practice as a primary care physician. Doctor Monroe is passionate about providing quality care in a timely fashion.
