WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT DURING YOUR VISIT.

Your women’s health visit at Neighborhood Urgent Care begins with a routine check of your vital signs, followed by a discussion with your physician about any changes or concerns. A pelvic exam is typically part of a well-woman visit, allowing your practitioner to visually inspect your vaginal and cervical tissues for any abnormalities. A Pap smear may also be performed to screen for cervical cancer.

If you’re experiencing ongoing symptoms, additional screenings may be conducted. Common concerns such as sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and pregnancy are addressed with our comprehensive STD screenings and pregnancy tests.
